It has been a privilege to provide a full PA package and control system for the UB40, featuring Ali Campbell and Astro, 40th Anniversary tour in March and April 2019.  Working alongside 2 of the original members of such an iconic band was a fantastic experience all round.  Touring throughout the UK and European Arenas, ESS supplied d&b J series for the main PA and V series for side hangs and delays, more than adequately providing enough punch and clarity for this Reggae rooted band. Our enthusiastic 3 person crew, of Bart De:Wit and Connor Frimston on systems and Daniella Segweiss as monitor tech, kept things running smoothly backed up by Gary Brookes and Mark Hughes on the larger shows.  A really great team performance by all. 

UB40 supplied their own IEM system so it was left for ESS to provide a Yamaha CL5 for monitor control and our BFM2 wedges for the support act.

We look forward to further touring in the future.
