UB40's Tour IEM Monitoring Package

As with all of our bespoke packages this system was individually tailored for UB40’s touring needs keeping the regions being toured, transportation, venue size and budget in mind. Neatly packaged, with full access to all connections and patching we supplied a Yamaha CL5 with Rio rack, 12 x Sennheiser EW300 IEM systems and 4 x Sennheiser EW300 wireless handheld system.

Being made aware in our prep period that Shaggy would be joining midway through the tour, we were able to build into the system a VDM connector and 5 metre whip cable to seemlessly interface with Shaggy’s IEM system with a passive split out of our Rio rack .

I just wanted to pass on the sound truck crew’s respect and grattitude to Mike & Dave. They played a blinder on the Introducing PA the whole weekend and were a pleasure to work with. Many of the bands I spoke to had much the same reaction too.

Andy and Chris were absolute stars the last two days, they really got into the gig and were an absolute pleasure to work with. I can’t think of anyone else I would have preferred to have on the job. The event was a cracking success despite the hostile acoustic and RF environments(!!!). I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say we are very grateful for all your help, support and understanding getting this one together, topped off with sending such excellent crew. Please pass my warmest thanks on to Bill, Andy and Chris.

A big THANK YOU for providing such a great team of Sound Engineers and PA’s. The sound on all the stages was great and we got many compliments this year.

Very belated thanks for the excellent work by Mark and Andy on the Sophie Ellis Bextor gig in Pinewood TV3. They came early, rigged efficiently, kept the client happy and were away quickly – what more could we ask!
